    Qualification
    • - an “International Baccalaureate Diploma” awarded by the International Baccalaureate Office in Geneva
    • − a true and certified “High School Diploma” (USA) with a “transcript of records,” listing at least 4 Advanced Placements (APs)
    • - a certified copy of a high school degree from New Zealand (National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA), level 3 with at least 42 credits
    • − a true and certified Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
    • − a true and certified Master’s degree (or equivalent)

    STPM, UEC Diploma

    • - STPM Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (or “Matriculation Certificate”) gives entry to bachelor programs at Ghent/GUGC (pre-university track). Malaysian Certificate of Education of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) is considered from applicants with outstanding results in STEM (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, science-related) courses.
    • Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) (Chinese track): can be accepted as well on condition they obtained above 75%
    • - Language Proficiency: students who did the pre-university track mandatory have passed the MUET (Malaysian University English Test); the acceptable result is a 3 (out of a maximum of six scores). However, this indicates that international students need the normal English proficiency tests (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)

    Cambridge International A Level and Cambridge AICE Diploma

    • “3 A-levels and 3 IGCSE at grade C or above could grant access, depending on the selected program (preferably natural sciences).”
    • 6 IGCSE subjects and a minimum of 3 A-Level subjects equate to the Flemish Certificate of Secondary Education, with the following criteria
      • - Candidates must have A-levels / only GCE A-levels will be taken into account
      • - Min. 12 years of consecutive education required
      • - The six mentioned subjects are required, including Mathematics and English, and at least one relevant course in a natural sciences topic (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
        In practice, three relevant courses at the GCE level and three courses at the GCSE level. Computer Science can be allowed as pending results.
      • - For GCE min. 3 out of 4 subjects must be passed at A-level.
      • - GCSE and GCE results should have grades A* to C (incl.)
      • - GCE A level with three general subjects with grades A* to C, of which min. two from the Natural Science subject list (Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science).
        The third subject is further general education, independent of the two subjects mentioned above.
    • All other international diplomas
    • All international school diplomas that don’t meet the mentioned requirements

    • *Note that equivalency investigation can take up to 6 to 8 weeks

    GUGC Online Aptitude Test

    • Ghent University Global Campus requires to take an Online Aptitude Test for those who apply through General Admission.
      The Online Aptitude Test is used as the primary entry pathway, and it reflects on the minimum level of knowledge required for university admission.
      The Online Aptitude Test consists of 20 questions concerning two subjects (mathematics and chemistry) to be completed in 120 minutes.
      It is possible to take the test multiple times.

      However, each instance costs $65. The minimum passing score for the Online Aptitude Test is 14 out of 20, and your received score must be submitted with your application.
      For the test, the following items are required to be prepared: web camera, passport, and credit card (Mastercard or VISA).
